Michael Costache
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Costache
has a consulting and investment banking background. Mr.
Costache spent two years as an Associate with
WestPark Capital,
a Los Angeles-based investment banking firm where his
responsibilities included identifying and evaluating new
investment opportunities and assisting clients with strategic
alliances. Previously, Mr. Costache was an Associate at The
Interlink Group, a Los Angeles-based investment and merchant
banking firm, which specialized in infrastructure projects in
India,
Pakistan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia. Mr. Costache also
worked with
Millennium Capital Partners,
a Beverly Hills-based merchant banking firm and
venture capital firm,
where his responsibility was to source $100
million equity investment for
Geely Auto,
China’s only non-government owned automaker, and source joint
venture partners with U.S. and European automakers for
technology transfer and expansion of Geely Auto’s product
line.
Mr. Costache
has served as President & CEO of Pioneer TeleCare since its
inception in 2000 and its predecessor, Pioneer Marketing
Associates, since 1998. The company was originally offering
marketing and IT consulting services to small and medium size
companies as well as a few Fortune 500 corporations. By 2000,
the company was also offering off-shore call center outsourcing
and consummated a $12 million deal for a Fortune 500 credit card
company. The company has since evolved into a holding company
with over a dozen subsidiaries in numerous industries (office
products, flowers, hair care products, medical devices, and
motorcycles).
Mr. Costache is currently
serving as an Ambassador of the Los Angeles Venture Association
(LAVA)
as well as a member of the Organizing Committee for the annual
Investment Capital Conference (ICC),
which is the largest annual investment capital conferences in
the U.S. Mr. Costache also serves on the Board of Directors of
the China World Capital Forum (WCF)
and the Romanian-Wall Street Economic Forum (RWSEF).
Mr. Costache holds a degree
in Economics from
Pepperdine University
and a Certificate in Arbitration, Mediation and Negotiation from
Pepperdine’s School of Law. Mr. Costache completed studies in
business, history and law in the UK, France, Germany, Italy,
Turkey, Greece, Israel and Switzerland.
Mr. Costache is a member of
Pepperdine's Alumni Board of Directors and the Alumni Career
Advisory Council. Mr. Costache serves as an advisor to
Pepperdine's Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
chapter and is also the founder and chairman of the Young
Professionals Global Network (YPGN),
a non-profit mentoring organization with over 1,000 members in
70+ countries.
In 2003, Mr. Costache was
given the great privilege of teaching at Pepperdine’s
Undergraduate Business Program. The course was appropriately
named, “Success
101,”
and it was designed to better prepare graduating college
students entering the job market or starting their own ventures.
A native of
Bucharest, Romania, Mr. Costache spent 11 years in Romania and
lived in Israel from 1988 until 1992 when his family immigrated
to the United States. Mr. Costache is fluent in Romanian, Hebrew
and English and has basic knowledge of the French language.
J.R. Getches
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Getches has spent his 15-year career in the technology
industry building large-scale transaction, database, Internet,
and telephony systems for some of America’s largest
corporations including:

McDonald’s (1987-1989) – Mr. Getches
wrote labor scheduling and management software and was
appointed to the ten person McDonald’s Store Systems
Advisory Committee responsible for recommending all computer
and Point of Sale solutions for the company.

Dow Jones (1989-1994) – Mr. Getches was
a Senior Programmer/Analyst developing software for
foreign currency and precious metal trading.
·
Public Service Electric and Gas (1994-1995)
- Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) is a publicly traded
(NYSE:PEG), energy and energy services company headquartered
in New Jersey. PSE&G is the 4th largest independent power
producer in the U.S. and Canada with 2001 revenues of $9.8
billion and 13,000 employees. Mr. Getches developed web-based
interactive and stand-alone touch-screen kiosk Human Resources
programming.

The Voyager Company (1995-1996)
– Mr. Getches was part of a team of programmers producing
the “Spinal Tap” and “People Magazine 20th
Anniversary” CD-ROM products.
·
The Recovery Network (1996-1998) – Director
of Technology and, later, Director of Strategic Development of
publicly traded cable network carried in 14 million homes.
Since 1999, Mr. Getches has consulted
with a number of start-up ventures including:

Ivy.com – Designed and coded a
state-of-the-art on-line Scholastic Aptitude Test.
·
Tickets.com
- Senior Programmer/Analyst responsible for database
design and designed and coded first real-time telephone and
web based action system.
·
Laugh.com – designed and coded entire
back end content management tools and front end dynamic
elements and mass email programs.
·
CelebStreet, Inc.
- Mr. Getches went to work for CelebStreet serving
first as Chief Technology Officer before being promoted to
President in the spring of 2000. CelebStreet was a
Macromedia featured site and attracted more than three million
visitors in one day.
Mr. Getches received a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Theater from the University of Virginia. A native of
Virginia, Mr. JR has lived and studied in almost every
continent and has resided in Los Angeles since 1996.
Jimmy Yang, VP - Sales
Mr. Yang has a sales and advertising background. Prior to
joining Pioneer TeleCare, Mr. Yang spent two years as an
Advertising Consultant with the San Fernando Valley Business
Journal where his responsibilities included advertising sales,
advertising consulting, and relationship building. Previously,
Mr. Yang spent three years as a Business Development Executive
with Informa Research Services, a London-based financial
research firm where his responsibilities included developing
new business partnerships and sales opportunities and
consultative financial research relationships with financial
institutions across the country.
Mr. Yang currently serves on the Health Committee for VICA
(Valley Industry and Commerce Association) as well as President
of the Pepperdine Rugby Alumni Association.
Mr. Yang holds a degree in International Management from
Pepperdine University. Jimmy is fluent in Chinese and English.
